Movie2x free DVD Ripper is a free application tool for converting DVD files to many video formats. Supported formats are DVD, MPEG4, DivX, XVid, MOV, AVI, ASF, RM, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, FLV, SWF, VCD, SVCD.
User selects the settings options, audio or video conversion, and the conversion (or compression) is performed in three single steps: select a conversion profile (if any), open the DVD audio or video file(s) and press "Convert". No technical or professional knoledge needed. User interface is very simple and good for both beginners and experts.
Options are available for selecting output framerate, detect or force 24fps (frames per second), audio or video sychronization, sample rate, audio volume, etc. and make the result very satisfactory.
The application includes a bulit-in DVD player for previewing the input files. Also, it deletes CSS, Macrovision, DVD protections, respecting subtitles, angle, etc.
Conversion can be made by chapters, selected parts of the movie or the entire movie, so the separated parts can be merged later on. It supports batch conversion.
